The zine won the Washington State Library Zine contest. It is about the History of the Ape Canyon Attack. IN 1924 a small group of gold miners were up in Ape Canyon in Mount Saint Helens. Upon their return to town they said they were attacked by bigfoot. After the attack they were so frightened, they cancelled their mining claim for good. This zine has lots of news clips from local newspapers of from around 1924, as well as lots of information about the attack and the refound cabin site almost 100 years later. Each copy signed by the author, Marc Myrsell who also runs the Westport Aquarium.
