Sasquatch Island Magazine written and signed by Thomas Sewid

Thomas Sewid is a Kwakwaka’wakw/Cree First Nation artist born in Alert Bay in 1965. He became interested in his people’s art as a boy watching the great carvers who are no longer with us creating. These historic carvers such as Chief James Aul Sewid his grandfather, Gus Matilpi, Benjamin (Blackie) Dick, and Andrew (Beanie) Beans instilled his desire to learn the art trade. Having been the Chairman of Aboriginal Tourism British Columbia and other First Nations organizations for decades, Thomas is well-trained in marketing. As Chairman of Aboriginal Tourism British Columbia, he and the organization he led helped incorporate the Indigenous cultural component into the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. The bowls he painted upon were made by the late master lathe turner Bill Luce. Some may know Thomas from his television series Aboriginal Adventures or the many appearances he makes on the Sasquatch/Bigfoot television show, he is a featured speaker at many of the famous Bigfoot conventions. His original art can fetch thousands of dollars.(Letimer Galleria, Bigfoot Mystery Magazine)

Sasquatch Island Magazine is a review of Sasquatch research and a collection crypto related story lines regarding the alleged American relict hominoid known as by some as “Bigfoot” and as close to factual research data as possible; all attempts were made to properly site, quote and reference. The oral tradition and experiences of Thomas Sewid are the leading element of focus.
